Requirements for 3D Bowl

Please read all of the instructions before you begin.

• Pack of 2" Pentagons - you'll need 12 templates for each bowl
• Fabrics  - 15cm x 2 fabrics for inner and outer bowl
• Glue pen
• Needle and thread

Step 1

Begin by covering 6 of the pentagons in your bowl outer fabric using the glue method ( Secure your templates to the back of your fabric, using dabs of glue to hold the fabric to the template as you fold each edge over to the back in a clockwise direction.)

Step 2

Sew using a whip or ladder stitch. Attach a pentagon to each edge of a centre pentagon so you create the shape below.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the bowl inner.

Step 3

For both inner and outer bowls, sew the side edges of the pentagons right sides together so that you have two bowls.

Step 4

Place the inner bowl inside the outer bowl and sew around the top using a ladder stitch.
